Okay, I am up way too late! The regular scrapbooking infomercials are over and it's time for digital scrapbooking infomercials! So, for those of you who want to do digital scrapbooking, but don't want to learn a lot about new programs and just want the pages done, this is a good option. The pages aren't extremely detailed, but they work and they allow you to get your memories preserved. That's the whole point!
My Memories Suite
The cool thing about this is that if you decide you want to switch to another program later, you can use all the files for this program with other photo editing software. The files are all in .png & .jpg format. Other simple digiscrap programs like Creative Memories can only be used with their files. This one is a bit more versatile. And you can add your videos and music. If I were just getting started and hadn't ever digiscrapped and wasn't extremely interested in using scrapbooking as an artistic outlet, I would probably use a program like this one. That's my plug...

Reminds me a lot of Memory Mixer. For those just getting into Digi it would be awesome for them. That's how I got started with Digi. I now use PSCS2 but these other programs would be great for beginners too.
I think it IS Memory Mixer. I hadn't ever heard of it before. Glad to hear a positive review before I recommend it to others.
Now we're talking! Thats more my pace. No creative ability needed. :)
i'm right there with mary.
I know I don't know you and you don't know me, but I worked with Polariod on the infomercial and was looking up some stuff on google and cam across your post... FYI, Memory Mixer is not the same, but the mother company of My Memories Suite contributed to Memory Mixer, so they are very similar.
Hi, I am looking for your help. Know of any great scrapbooking software for Mac users? This memory suite is too basic for me, as I want to create my own pages with elements, etc but I do not want to use photoshop or be creating the actual elements. Does that make sense? I am very creative and about an intermediate when it comes to using the digital scrapbooking tools. I had iscrapbook and loved it for all of the ways I could be creative within it but it kept crashing. So I am thinking I need something new. Help!
I think Photoshop Elements would be a good choice. It's basically the "easy" version of Photoshop. It's priced at less than $100. You can very easily create your pages simply by dragging & dropping. There is another program that I have heard of called ACDSee Photo Editor. It has some limitations, but I have seen some really pretty scrapbook pages created from this software. There are tons of software options. Some people use Paint Shop Pro, some use Digital Image Pro. It really just depends on how detailed you want to be able to make your pages and how realistic you want to be able to make them. There are tons of tutorials at different digital scrapbook sites for learning about different softwares. Good luck finding one that works well for you!
Stacey I am a long time Photoshop user and have done some professional graphic design work and love to digi scrapbook. But I also LOVE the My Memories Suite software to create my pages from scratch using the beautiful designer pack or template designs available in their design shop in designer packs. I just find the software so quick and easy and it's a great way to create my albums and keep them organized. I saw they have a 30% coupon code (ETTES) floating around the net.
