i haven't really posted anything in a few days. . . things are going well. we have just been busy. thomas is working constantly! his store only has 2 finance guys who are really working full-time right now. they usually have four or 5, so he is working mega-overtime! too bad he doesn't get paid by the hour! :) hannah is growing like a weed! she is getting soooo tall! she eats constantly. she loves fruit and pretzels. the kid can put away some pretzels! i have been creating, creating, creating! i have been making a lot of prizes for my challenges and chats over at RAKScraps. i need to make a couple more today. . . i am also making invitations for a non-shower, couples party! it is a beach party for a couple who is getting married out of town. the invites are gonna be cute! i'll scan one and upload it one of these days. no time to do any layouts right now!

My daughter won't wear a hairbow!

Hannah hates wearing anything on her head! She pulls out all of her bows and barrettes and won't wear a headband! She is such a girly-girl otherwise! She loves shoes and purses, but won't let Mommy put a bow in her hair. They stay in about 15 seconds! We have an entire bucket of hairbows from Grandma, but they sit alone and neglected! Poor bows!

technology woes. . .

My dumb DVD burner isn't working! ugh! I need to back up my hardrive. Every time I use my DVD burner I get a communication error. I opened up my PC and checked all the cables. There are no updates to Nero available. So, when my husband gets home tonight, he has to try to find the drivers for the burner and see what he can do. I had 50 mb left on my hardrive this morning. That is crisis level!!! So, I had to burn a few CDs of old layouts. I really need to get my DVD burner up and going so that I can organize my digital scrapbooking stuff. I have this masterpiece of an idea of how to organize everything, but I can't do it without my burner!
Thank goodness for Blues Clues! Hannah sits there in a daze and watches for Blues Clues for an hour at a time. She loves the "Bluestock" DVD. Hmmmm. . . I wonder if I could hook my DVR for my TV up to my computer and make backups that way. . . I doubt it, that would be too easy. We are going to have to spend $150 that we don't have lying around to fix this.
I am finally starting to feel better. I was actually hungry today. I think I overdid it, though. I ate spaghetti & salad & peach cobbler and I have eaten about 40 pretzels. Nothing like a little indigestion on top of getting over a flu! :)

I LOVE this photo! Hannah fell asleep in the pool last July, while Grandma was holding her. this kit is by Krista Mettler @ Scrapdish. It is called "Get Happy". So much fun!

I LOVE this photo, too! This is a photo from June 2005. It was a blurry, bad photo, but I love that face she is making! So I decided to enhance it and use it anyway! This kit is called "Lounge Around" by Correen Silke, and was freebie in the RAKScraps January Newsletter. I LOVE it!

I love this photo of Hannah's foot. Her little feet are just adorable. She has to have surgery next year to fix her toes. They hurt her all the time, but it sure doesn't slow her down! To me, they are a symbol of her courage. I love my baby girl!
