NILMDTS Segment on the Today Show

My friend, Jenna, is an amazing photographer who is working/planning to work with this organization. They help families cope with the loss of their babies through photography. This video will probably make you cry, so consider yourself warned. What a great organization!

I BAWLED!!! Thanks a lot mere...lol Thats amazing, so sad, but a wonderful idea. What a horrible thing to have to go through, but they are right. Memories fade, and it would be wonderful to remember what they looked like. Great story!

Shouldn't have watched that at work. My neighbor had this happen to her (her name was Olivia...) but I don't think they ever knew about photography for it. She only has a keepsake with footprints. It is absolutely heartbreaking.

When i watched this, all I could think of was when I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to be done. And these women dread the day they actually go into labor and have to give birth. They treasure each and every day of their pregnancy, even if they are miserable because it is one more day with their precious baby.

Wow. I know you warned me, but still. I can hardly breathe I'm crying so hard! It made it a little worse that the baby's name was Olivia, then Mary's friend was Oliva...GEEZ! You're trying your hardest to make me cry, huh?!? ;)

I can't imagine what those women go through, but what a beautiful organization to help them with their grief.

Thanks, Mere!

Eileen and I are the proud parents of Olivia. I came across your blog page and wanted to know how touched Eileen and I were by your comments. We have a lot more about Olivia to share at www.lundberg.mn
