Meredith said...: We reserved a rental truck from a store near our house. We reserved an automatic truck with a/c. They called us a couple of hours before we were supposed to pick up the truck. They didn't have a truck for us at the store near our house. They wanted us to drive about 20 minutes from our house to pick up a truck... they charge by the mile. I told them that I wanted a truck at a closer store. They found one... a stick shift with no a/c and it was a deisel. Deisel engines make me sick... seriously make me want to throw up! this happens everytime we use U-Haul. They never have our truck at the right location. There is always something wrong with the truck. (No a/c in Florida in July is murder!!!) And they were rude about it. Like they were doing us a favor by getting us a half-broken truck at full price. Also, it took 10 minutes to start the truck each time. We reserved a dolly and didn't get it. And I reminded the worker as he was walking out the door to put one in the truck... morons!; Tue Jul 11, 07:43:00 AM MDT
