120 down. . . thousands to go
I am desperately trying to get caught up in my scrapbooking. . . I scrapped over 120 photos yesterday. I created about 8 layouts so you can imagine how many photos are on each layout! I can't bear to part with any of my photos, so here is my new scrapbooking philosophy. I tend to take a LOT of photos at one time. Like 20 to 30 of a park outing. So, I will pick my favorite photos and do a 1 or 2 page spread and then I will do a photo collage out of the rest of them. I am going to use the same digital kit for the collage pages so that there is some kind of continuity. I just don't know what else to do. I know a lot of people who have their scrapbooks and their photo albums separate, but I just don't want to do that. I want everything in one place. Any ideas???

I planted a garden today!!!
I am so excited! I planted a little tiny garden today! We love fresh tomatoes, so this morning my mom and i went to Lowes and bought a bunch of HUGE plastic pots and a TON of really heavy Miracle Gro and some plants. We got 2 yellow tomato plants, 3 Better Boy tomatoes, 1 Roma tomato and 1 eggplant vine. I love eggplant. I wanted to get a jalapeno plant, but they only came in packs of 9 and nobody needs that many jalapenos! So, IF I ever move, I get to take one yello tomato, one Better Boy tomato, one Roma tomato and 1 eggplant vine! along with all my other poor little plants. I have to go to walmart tomorrow and get more miracle gro soil and a couple more pots and rocks. We were two pots short (we thought we already had some big ones) and a couple of bags of soil short, too. I need to re-pot my jasmine, too. Ugh! Not looking forward to more heavy bags! AND we have to pull out most of the flowers in the front flower bed, too. They got killed by frost this winter. We are going to sod almost up to the big tree. I love working outside on a lawn when it isn't 10000 degrees. It was 81 here today, but there was NO humidity, so it was super nice!

$0.99 8.5x11 prints at Adorama Pix
Check out Adorama Pix for $0.99 8.5x11 prints!!! Make sure to use coupon code PXSCRAPBOOK when you place your order.
I need to print out about 400 digital layouts and I can't afford to spend much. So, I emailed the owners of AdoramaPix, a studio out of New York who has an awesome reputation for print quality. Last year they had a sale for $0.99 8.5x11 prints, so I asked them when they would be doing it this year. Herman emailed me back and stated there wasn't much interest in it last year, so they didn't plan to do it this year, but that if I could help generate some interest, they might be able to do it each year. SO, UNTIL 4/30/2006, 8.5X11 PRINTS ARE $0.99 AT ADORAMA PIX USING THE ABOVE COUPON CODE!!! And, no, I am not printing all 400 layouts, but I sure would like to!
